Happy St. Patrick’s Day! In the spirit of all things green, we’ve come up with three delicious smoothie recipes packed with good-for-you ingredients. Whip one up for a healthy meal on-the-go!
Green Smoothie Power Bowl
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
1 tbsp. almond butter
8 oz almond milk
1 cup kale
1 cup spinach
1 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. chia seeds
Toppings:
blueberries
banana
granola
kiwi
Directions: Blend all ingredients in blender. Pour into a bowl, add toppings and enjoy!
Green Super Smoothie
Ingredients:
6 oz coconut water
2 frozen ripe bananas
1/2 cup chopped pineapple
1 1/2 cup spinach
1/2 avocado
1 tbsp. flax
Directions: Blend all ingredients in blender. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
Refreshing Green Juice
Ingredients:
1 sliced cucumber
2 cups spinach
1 apple
6 leaves of mint
8 oz coconut water
Directions: Blend all ingredients in blender (or juicer). Pour into a glass and enjoy!
